LEAD

LEAD Public Schools is a Nashville-based charter school network that operates six schools – both open and zoned enrollment – in grades 5-12.

About LEAD

We are proud to serve a diverse population of students, and our mission is to prepare ALL students to be ready for college and ready for life. LEAD Public Schools is the only charter operator in Nashville to successfully move a zoned public school off the state’s lowest-performing priority school list. In 2011, MNPS chose LEAD to assume operation of Cameron Middle to prevent the school from ending up on the priority list.

LEAD successfully turned around academic performance at LEAD Cameron and continues to see gains each year. The charter network did it again in 2022 when LEAD Neely’s Bend exited both priority status and the Achievement School District.
